About

The Friends of Old Sculpin Gallery supports the Martha’s Vineyard Art Association initiatives and activities of both established and emerging artists as well as awarding scholarships to promising high school art students. With the support of Friends, the mission is to increase those stipends and to extend the very popular children’s art classes to more island residents. The Friends group also hosts programs for the benefit of artists and art lovers across the island.

About the Martha’s Vineyard Art Association

The MVAA, the Island’s first non-profit art association, showcases the unique talents of the Martha’s Vineyard artistic community. During the summer season the Old Sculpin Gallery, right across from the Chappy Ferry, is a cultural hub where we have weekly exhibits of our artists members and special events for the whole community to enjoy. The upstairs of our building is home to children’s art classes that have nurtured generations of young artists.
