Alison M. Convery

Alison’s work exhibits her unique, colorful, folk-influenced paintings. Artist and illustrator, she is the author of the “Child’s Guide to Martha’s Vineyard” now in its sixth printing and being given to the children of those who loved the book growing up.
A graduate of Mass. College of Art, she has lived on the island for the past 65 years, raising 3 islanders and 8 grandkids. “I have chosen special island events that are well known to all of us; its these events that meld us together, as Islanders.”
