In collaboration with the MV Preservation Trust, the MVAA and OSG bring you a night of history, art, and cuisine centered around the work of Manual Swartz and the Edgartown Waterfront!
A collaborative show with MV Preservation Trust beginning across the street at the historic Norton Boat House with champagne and oysters, and a bit of history about Manual Swartz's iconic cat boat. Then on to the Old Sculpin for cocktails and more tasty nibbles from the sea surrounded by a show featuring work by our MVAA members, selections from our Permanent Collection, and words about our founders, our mission, and our goals for the future. Guests will be welcome to venture upstairs for sweets where they'll see our children's classroom with some of their art work on display. This is a wonderful occasion to celebrate our very rich history and the fact that we're still thriving, 64 years later!
